“Take Flight” Community Token Event For Moonbeam Community

The Moonbeam Foundation is proud to announce “Take Flight,” a token event open to the Moonbeam community. This event is an opportunity for Moonbeam community members to obtain Glimmer (GLMR) tokens, which are the utility tokens of the Moonbeam Network.

Take Flight highlights:

• Tokens Allocated for Event: 80,000,000 GLMR (8% of the initial, redenominated supply)
• Start Date: September 7, 2021, at 3:00 pm UTC*
• Duration: three sequential phases, the first of which will have a guaranteed allocation
• Lockup: 40 days from GLMR network launch (balance transfers & EVM enabled), no vesting.
• Price: to be announced later (will be the same across all three rounds).
• Tokens Accepted: USDT, USDC, ETH, BTC*
• Qualification: users must meet eligibility requirements. U.S. residents and citizens are not eligible to participate.

Take Flight is a community-exclusive event and will consist of three sequential rounds over a period of days. As such, all three rounds will require a whitelist to participate.
