Huge thanks to our community who tested out Noether’s Staking Delegation on Testnet and who provided us with such good feedback. This was invaluable in improving the staking experience and the release of Noether’s beta version on testnet. Details of the improvements can be found here — take a look! Gearing up to our mainnet launch, we also announced 3 organizations who will be supporting us. Everstake, HashQuark, and Blockscope will all manage pools throughout our mainnet beta and the full mainnet launch. You’ll be able to find more information and stake with their pools via the Cartesi Explorer when mainnet beta is launched.

We’re pleased to announce that KuCoin has listed CTSI, with trading available for CTSI/USDT, CTSI/BTC pairs.

As one of the most popular crypto exchanges, KuCoin offers low trading fees, over 250 cryptocurrencies and is packed full of additional features. Our listing helps expand our community initiatives, increasing access to CTSI globally as well as bringing more awareness of CTSI to existing KuCoin users.

In addition to the three great institutions supporting our Staking Delegation mainnet launch, September saw additional expansions for Cartesi’s business development goals. Knit Finance, a decentralized protocol for creating cross-chain wrappers for the top-200 assets, integrated Cartesi (CTSI) into its platform, helping to unlock DeFi opportunities for CTSI across multiple chains.

We were also excited to be joining the largest enterprise Ethereum ecosystem: Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. Together with other members, we’re driving the use of Enterprise Ethereum and Mainnet Ethereum as an open standard to empower all enterprises. Keep an eye out in October for more news…

Guilherme Dantas, Blockchain Engineer Intern

Guilherme Dantas is a Computer Engineering student at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro who is passionate about Programming Languages, Data Structures and Artificial Intelligence. His term paper was on a bilateral integration between the Python and Lua scripting languages, being advised by the leading architect of Lua, Roberto Ierusalimschy.

As an intern for the Tecgraf Institute at PUC-Rio, he developed several graphical user interfaces in Lua; lead the development of an application programming interface for Python to interact with a C++ library; and worked on a sports analytics system for the basketball team of Flamengo. When it comes to languages, Guilherme is keen on programming in C, Python and Lua.

More recently, he has cultivated a deeper understanding of the cryptographic tools that allow safe communication on the Internet. Because of this, the technology behind cryptocurrencies has naturally sparked his interest in the area.

“I joined Cartesi because I believe that Cartesi has the potential and the ability to offer innovative solutions for decentralized applications, unleashing a new realm of possibilities for developers and users.”
