Tempus Raises $4M Strategic Funding Round

Tempus has secured US$4 million as part of a new strategic funding round. The fresh capital injection comes in only four months after they raised $1.9 million in our seed round in June, bringing its total funding to date to $5.9 million.

New investors in this round include Distributed Global, Jump Capital, Koji Capital. Existing investors also participated in this round. They are also excited to announce that they will be partnering with some of the most renowned communities in the DeFi space.

The new partners will be joining their existing suite of investors: Lemniscap, GSR, Wintermute, Tomahawk.VC, LAUNCHub and others. Investors in this round will also act as strategic partners to make sure the protocol is well capitalized on launch.

The new funding round will enable the team to double in size from the 11 existing members to 20–25 and accelerate the process of integrating with new protocols and becoming available on other blockchains.
