INCREDIBLE New DEX Set to Rock Crypto (Fantom Based DEFI Ethereum Killer?)

Fantom is one of the most explosive projects to launch over the past year, and the price of its token has increased by 14 thousand percent since January.

Fantom is a new DAG based Smart Contract platform that is offering fast and low cost transactions. DAG stands for Directed Acyclic Graph, which is a different consensus mechanism than Proof of Work or Proof of Stake. The platform also uses a new protocol known as the “Lachesis Protocol” to maintain consensus. Fantom also has a heavy focus on interoperability and becoming a connection point in the multichain future.

If you are using the Fantom blockchain, chances are that you’ll run into ToSdis, a one stop shop for DeFi that allows you to stake, yield farm and even create your own liquidity pools. ToSdis also powers TosLabs, an incubator and launchpad that allows you to get in early on some of the newest projects before they take off. In fact this is one of the only launchpads available on Fantom, and they are certainly the biggest.

Tosdis offers a fast and secure bridge that allows you to transfer back and forth between the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks. The platform also helps investors cut through the noise by curating the projects that are available for staking and farming. Options are divided into two different sections, one curated list of products that have been vetted by the team, and a larger public pool of choices that were either not vetted or didn’t make the cut for curation. This approach allows investors to make more informed decisions without a central party censoring developers, so the platform remains free and open, but also safe.

Another unique feature in the TosDis dashboard is the ability to create a staking pool or yield farm for pretty much any token you can think of. The purpose of these services is to provide tools for developers who want to add staking or yield farming to their projects.

Tosdis also has its own token which currently has a market cap of around 2.5 billion, with a max supply of 100 thousand and a circulating supply of just over 50 thousand. Eventually, there will only be a total supply of 50 thousand, because half of the tokens will eventually be burned as the platform is used over time. The Tosdis “DIS” token is trading at around 46 dollars, and has been moving sideways in consolidation over the past month. This launched around 200 bucks back in February, and had a steep correction along with everything after the May crash, so it still has a lot of room to grow before reaching its all time high and making new ones.

The Toslabs incubator and launchpad is giving investors a chance to get in on the ground floor of some great projects. Toslabs also has cross-chain functionality, not to mention some of the incredible launches they have had recently.

The platform’s first IDO was Investdex, an interface similar to Dextools that focuses on the BSC network, and it sold out within a matter of minutes. They also launched Iagon, the first decentralized cloud computing platform designed for the Cardano ecosystem, and that sold out quickly as well. There was also Timechain, one of the first DEX aggregators focused specifically on the Fantom ecosystem.

One of the most exciting IDOs that Toslabs has coming up is “Quoth,” an innovative new NFT platform that will have an AI authentication system that checks for originality. In addition to minting and trading NFTS, users will also be able to bridge them over from other networks using the same interface. Quoth is going to focus on cross chain interoperability for NFTS. I’m definitely starting to notice a trend here.

The initial market cap for Quoth will be $759,000, and you’re hearing about it here first, it probably won’t be going live until at least sometime in late November.

TosDis has recently partnered with SpiritSwap for better functionality between both platforms. They also partnered with Beefy Finance to launch a BSC vault, and they will be following up with an FTM vault sometime next month.

There are a ton of updates and new Features coming to this ecosystem over the following weeks and months too. Soon, TosDis will also provide borrowing and lending services along with liquid staking.

Liquid staking is different from regular staking because it allows staked assets to become liquid, as the name implies. When assets are staked with EasyStake, investors will receive a wrapped asset that is pegged in value to the asset they stake. They can then take the wrapped asset and use it to trade or yield farm for extra gains, if they can play it right and pay their stake back.

TosDis will also be working on compatibility with a variety of other blockchains including Cardano, Avalanche, Solana, Polygon and Polkadot. It seems that Solana compatibility will be the first to launch and it is expected sometime in the next few months, with the others launching shortly after.
